Running for the second time, the Showerks team have done it again with Level Up, providing an excellent multi marque show in the heart of Bangor.
As we reach the climax of the season each show tends to feature cars that you’ve seen time and time again so it was a breath of fresh air to see some new builds appear.
The first of these to catch our attention was Mark Stewart’s 500bhp Mercedes CLS 55 which had been slammed on factory air, smoothed and fitted with a beautiful set of 19″ splits which sat beautifully inside the arches.
Another car that had everyone talking Blaine Leathem’s E31 BMW 850 which was on the receiving end of a fresh respray, a hydro install from none other than John Peden and a set of mint Kerscher KCS wheels. It was clearly a fan favourite as every time we passed it there was a crowd of people looking, commenting and talking pictures of it.
On our own stand we had our usual high standard of VAG machinery with Marty McConnellouge and Dean McFarland both coming home with ’10 of the best’ awards.
Hats off to the team at Showerks for hosting another successful event. We loved the location and we were very thankful of the roof when the Northern Ireland weather played up to its reputation and poured down.
