Summer finally arrived in time for CCM's fifth annual Show & Shine event.
Joining up with our friends at Showerks we attended CCM’s annual Show & Shine with an open mind. We knew of CCM from their fortnightly meets at the church in Carryduff, but as we had never attended one of their events before we didn’t know what to expect.
When we arrived the show area was already starting to fill up, the sun was shining and Hood Status/Saut After providing the music helped the summer vibes. – the perfect setting for a show (but not so great for photos). Unlike other shows there was a really relaxed atmosphere, with free entry and a free BBQ everyone was made to feel welcome.
While the there was a fast variety of cars on show to keep us entertained the most fun of the day was had indoors where we were able to use the facilities to have a game of football and attempt to land our frisbee through a basketball hoop (not a childs face, eh Jonny?).
We left feeling impressed by the day which admittedly we thought might have been a bit of a flop – well done CCM!
